Glasgow High School (Glasgow, Montana) began sponsoring athletics in 1911. GHS truly believes activities are the other half of your child’s education. Sports and competition create work ethic, healthy lifestyles, and the ability to work as a team. Glasgow’s Athletic teams were originally termed the “Huskies” from 1911 till 1928, briefly changed to the “Highlanders” from 1929 to 1942, before finally becoming the “Scotties” in 1943.
The Scotties of Glasgow High School have won 48 Montana State Championships in our storied history and claimed 132 State trophies. Glasgow High School currently offers thirteen sports for students grades 9-12. (Football, Volleyball, Boys and Girls Cross Country, Boys and Girls Wrestling, Boys and Girls Basketball, Softball, Boys and Girls Track and Field, and Boys and Girls Golf.) We have been competing at the Class B level (45 schools) in the MHSA (Montana High School Association) since the 1992-93 school year.

Welcome to the Scottie Athletic and Activities Website! After a long planning phase and hundreds of hours of research I am proud to unveil this tool that is jam packed with pure Scottie information overload. I think a brand new website is just the ticket many of you could use to fuel that “Scottie Pride”. We want to make good communication a priority and web based is the wave of the now and the future. It is my belief, that when our students have success in or out of the classroom it should be celebrated the right way. With the launch of this website, any team or student-athlete that has achieved a high level of success for the Red and White of Glasgow High School will be remembered accordingly. Students, parents, fans, and others please enjoy the updated schedules, results, and team rosters for the current and upcoming seasons. All of you Scottie Alumni out there, please take a minute to travel back in time and look through the pages of this website to relive some of the past success many of you have achieved. I would like to thank Travis Doke, GHS Class of 1999, for his work in designing the layout of the entire website. This could not have been accomplished without his knowledge and willingness to give back to his old high school. The website will be continuously changing and evolving. The research through Glasgow Courier and GHS Year Book archives has only just begun. Please stop back for more history and record book additions as well as news and information for all of our current student athlete and activities participants.
